The Jeep® Wrangler returns after a total redesign with updates for the modern driver. Jeep remade the iconic platform with new materials, new technology, and a new look that simultaneously recalls classic Wrangler durability and adds a modern touch.
The Perfect Ride For…
Who are we kidding? You know who you are. You want the legend. You want the name that’s synonymous with unstoppable, all-terrain, go-anywhere, do-anything, and look-awesome-doing-it capability. The legend can be yours starting at just $26,995.*
Under The Hood…
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is available in four variants: the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon (each available in either 2-door or 4-door models). All models come standard with the infamous 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, which produces 285 horsepower. The powertrain features variable valve timing and sequential multi-point injection for maximum piston-firing efficiency.
The 2018 Wrangler’s fuel economy falls in line with other similarly sized SUVs in the segment; the four-dour automatic gets 18 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, while the manual transmission gets 17 mpg in the city and also 23 on the highway.**
The Sport, Sport S, and Sahara models come standard with Command-Trac Part Time 4WD System, which works best when mated to the available eight-speed automatic transmission, specifically calibrated to optimize shift points and intelligently deliver the Wrangler’s maximum 260 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The indefatigable Rubicon gets the Rock-Trac® 4x4 System, which uses a heavy-duty two-speed transfer case with a 4:1 low range and 84.1:1 crawl ratio with the manual transmission.
Legendary Off-road Capability
Many SUVs are designed with versatility as a bonus. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler was designed with versatility as a focus. It features standard off-road performance enhancements like skid plate shields for both the fuel tank and the transfer case, tow hooks in both the front and the back, third generation Dana® front and rear axles, anti-lock disc brakes on all four wheels, engine oil cooler, and Tru-Lok® front and rear electronic locking differentials for ultimate traction.
There’s not much in the world that's more liberating than blasting some powerful tunes while tearing up the trails. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler comes with an available Alpine™ Premium Audio System. Passengers can enjoy incredible sound quality from eight speakers with a 552-watt 12-channel amplifier and a heart-pounding subwoofer. Even better, you can feed that stereo with Bluetooth® connectivity accessible from an available 8.4-inch full-color touchscreen in the center console. Awesome.
Passive & Active Safety
In addition to modern performance, the all-new Wrangler features modern safety enhancements. The vehicle is stiffer and sports high-strength steel beams that improve side-impact performance, and there’s also a new advanced front and side airbag system to protect passengers in the event of an impact. Radar-guided and computer-driven active safety features bring the Wrangler into the 21st century, such as Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, Blind Sport Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, and ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System.
For those who are looking for a slightly different driving experience, there are several different Jeep models to choose from that fit the diverse needs of the modern driver. The 2018 Renegade, for example, is a great option for drivers transitioning from a sedan to an SUV. Its smaller size makes it perfect for joining the SUV family and will ensure that anyone behind the wheel feels comfortable commanding the Renegade on the road. The 2018 Compass is another option for anyone seeking a compact SUV. Its design is more streamlined than the boxy look of the Renegade, and its interior perfectly combines form with function.
